Russian Blue kittens & cats in Rincon, Georgia

Meet Riley! Beautiful Riley is proof that even a rough start in life can’t dim a kitten’s capacity to love. This absolutely gorgeous Russian Blue/longhair mix is not only easy on the eyes — she’ll steal your heart the moment you meet her! Riley was found abandoned as a stray on Hilton Head Island, but you would never know it from her wonderfully sweet and affectionate personality. Despite everything she has been through, she is incredibly people-friendly and loving. Her delightfully soft, luxurious fur practically begs to be touched, and Riley is more than happy to oblige — she loves being petted from head to tail and absolutely adores cuddling with her people. Once Riley realized she was safe and comfortable in the shelter, we also got to see another side of her personality: this girl loves to PLAY! As you can see in the linked YouTube video, Riley enjoys romping around, chasing toys (and her feline friends!), and engaging in some good-natured play-wrestling with the other cats. She came out of her shell remarkably quickly, especially considering that she was suddenly introduced to a completely new environment and unfamiliar cats. Watching her confidence emerge has been wonderful, and it’s clear that there is a happy, playful, fun-loving kitten underneath that initial uncertainty. We think Riley could be very happy as an only cat, where she can soak up all the attention and affection her family has to offer. Or, she could also be a wonderful companion for another cat — particularly a younger, playful feline who would enjoy having a buddy to chase, wrestle, and zoom around with. Either way, what Riley really wants is a safe, loving home where she can continue to blossom and be the cherished kitten she deserves to be. Riley is approximately 4 months old, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She is ready to leave her shelter days behind and start the next chapter of her life with a forever family of her own. If you are interested in adopting Riley, kindly fill out our required application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, home checks are a requirement of adoption, but we make this as unobtrusive and convenient as possible. THANK YOU for considering a rescue cat— and for giving a deserving kitten like Riley the chance to know what it means to be truly loved.
