Story
Meet Cora Crawley! She and her sister Violet Crawley (yes sisters not in-laws sorry) would love to be adopted together but we can consider adopting them separately to the perfect families. This Russian Blue mix kitten is a sweet and spunky explorer she loves toys so you can have a ton of fun with this playful kitten! She loves to lay by your feet or above your head, she likes to hang out with people but like a typical kitten she doesn’t sit still for long unless she’s had a busy day and decides to take a catnap. Like her Downton Abbey namesake Cora looks very regal, is smart and has some kitten mischief in her but she’s totally adorable. She hasn’t met kids yet but as she’s a young kitten we think she’d be find with cat savvy kids. As she is a kitten her personality is still developing but she's ready to grow with a family and even better if she can grow up with her sister so she has a feline playmate for life. Cora is FIV+ but don't be scared by that, FIV+ cats can live long healthy lives and their lifespan can be the same as a cat without FIV. Like all cats they just need their regular vet visits and as with all of our adoptable cats need to be strictly indoors. However, they would always enjoy a catio and maybe even leash and harness training to enjoy your backyard. To read more on FIV please check out some of these links and feel free to ask us questions. https://bit.ly/3JSOq6i https://www.fivcats.com/FIV/fiv_basics.html https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats We also have some adopters with FIV+ cats who would be happy to give you more information and their experience about the joy of giving a home to an FIV+ cat. Email MichelleS@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, VT, CT, VA, NY, PA, OH & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Washington state i.e. Bellingham, WA or closest U.S stop)! Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $475 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $40 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*
