I was a stray. I wasn't able to tell my finder how much I appreciated her rescuing me, but I am very thankful. I am glad that my life has a bright future. I love to play with all kinds of toys. I especially love the puff balls with glittery spikes. I will be your companion. I am also a Russian Blue Mix. I am hypoallergenic to most people. I hope you come to visit me. I will be waiting

Natasha was abandoned in her home with a dozen other cats when their family moved and left them. A neighbor was able to catch them all after they climbed out of an upstairs window. With the help of Paws on My Heart she was able to foster them until they find their forever homes. This beautiful girl can be shy at first, but give her some time a treat and a chin scratch and she'll be your best friend. Once she's comfortable, she will happily let you hold her, cuddle her and give her tummy rubs. She likes treats, ping pong balls and crinkle tubs to play in. She's small for her age and no expected to get much bigger.

Meet Mystery! The mystery is believed to be a 2-3-year-old Russian Blue mix. What a sweet shy boy. Just lacks confidence in every way. But given the time and space, he's the best! He can be hand-shy at first with humans but comes around eventually. He is her affectionate playful nurturing cat. The mystery was a stray cat in the neighborhood that a little 4-year-old girl fed and loved since kitten. She fed all the kitties daily on her front lawn. One day Mystery showed up with a fractured leg. The neighbor's dog had gotten him. It took 2 months to trap him, but he made it. By the time we could trap him his leg healed wrong. The only option was amputation. We decided not to proceed with it unless he showed an inability to use it or appeared in pain. We have not witnessed either. So he heated his leg. Here we are 18 months later and he's doing great. His best buddy here is Ace. They tend to stick together and lean on one another. They are not bonded at all just best buddies. Mystery cannot be an only pet. He needs a buddy. Whatever species as long as it's friendly and allows Mystery to lean on them for support, comfort, and loving. Mystery is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. BlueMy foster mom (FM) asked the interviewer lady (IL) to give you a little heads-up about my progress with her. To recap: my owner surrendered me in June 2024 after only 6 weeks with her. I was adopted in September 2024, but surrendered again in January 2026. It really takes a toll on a girl when you are passed around several times. I am now 8-years and 10-months old. Being back at the HSHC was quite a shock. My previous home had resident cats who were totally overwhelming and stressful to live with. Sharing litter boxes, food bowls, and water dishes was hard to bear. Whenever I saw them, I would yowl, cry, and sometimes even soil myself. For two months—which I called Heavenly—I lived separately from those cats. My stress level went away. I was feeling 100% happy. Checking into HSHC again has caused my stress and anxiety to accelerate. The shelter decided I needed to go to a foster home to “de-stress,” relax, and become a happy cat again. On February 11, I moved in with my foster mom (FM). The first fifty hours were terrifying. I lost my appetite. However, I began to get comfortable living in a bathroom and sleeping in my familiar cat carrier. It holds blankets with my scent. I have a window to watch the backyard and a litterbox just for me. I use it without problems. Gradually, instead of yowling, I began making high-pitched, little mew-sounds. FM is pleased to hear me purring and meowing for attention. I am quite the little chatterbox now and enjoy hearing well-deserved compliments on my behavior. I am now relishing my time spent sunbathing next to FM’s bed and under her nightstand. FM wants you to know that I do not like hands coming at me over my head. Directly in front of my face or below my chin are my preferred approaches. FM says I continue to “have my boundaries,” but I’m a polite lady and never use my claws enforcing them. FM thinks I might be okay with another cat or dog. That potential 4-legged sibling must be calm and allow me a peaceful space. I feel strongly that living with kids would be a solid “no thank you.” FM and IL agree that it is still early days, and I need more time in my foster home. But since I am making steady progress, perhaps the public would enjoy hearing my story. If you are interested in adopting me, the HSHC can make the arrangements. 5-14-26

Cheech is about 3 years old, he loves window watching, loves his sister Zharra she is on listing as well trying to let them stay together. He is shy at first but is a big cuddler and won't leave your side! He loves string toys!
