Russian Blue kittens & cats in Greensburg, Indiana

Meet Mystery! The mystery is believed to be a 2-3-year-old Russian Blue mix. What a sweet shy boy. Just lacks confidence in every way. But given the time and space, he's the best! He can be hand-shy at first with humans but comes around eventually. He is her affectionate playful nurturing cat. The mystery was a stray cat in the neighborhood that a little 4-year-old girl fed and loved since kitten. She fed all the kitties daily on her front lawn. One day Mystery showed up with a fractured leg. The neighbor's dog had gotten him. It took 2 months to trap him, but he made it. By the time we could trap him his leg healed wrong. The only option was amputation. We decided not to proceed with it unless he showed an inability to use it or appeared in pain. We have not witnessed either. So he heated his leg. Here we are 18 months later and he's doing great. His best buddy here is Ace. They tend to stick together and lean on one another. They are not bonded at all just best buddies. Mystery cannot be an only pet. He needs a buddy. Whatever species as long as it's friendly and allows Mystery to lean on them for support, comfort, and loving. Mystery is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Samurai (Sammy) is friendly, affectionate, and playful; has a doglike purrrsonality!  He's 7 years old, neutered (male), microchipped, and current with all recommended vet care (which included recent tooth removal and a root canal!!). He had been a companion to someone who had serious health issues & couldn't keep him anymore, so was taken in by a good samaritan to help find him a good home. He's very easy-going, laid back, accomodating - he recently attended a huge adoption event riding in/displayed in a large pet stroller - handled it like a champ - got lots of attention & petting & then took a nap! Zosia This beautiful girl was found pregnant and in need of help. She safely delivered her kittens, and each of them has found a loving home. When her finder realized they couldn’t keep her long-term, they reached out to us so Zosia could have the same happy ending. Now spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her next chapter, Zosia is looking for a forever family of her own. She is chatty, affectionate, and loves attention. She enjoys being near her people and will happily “talk” to you about her day. She’s doing well with the other foster cats, but she would also thrive as an only cat where she can soak up all the love. Zosia has the stunning look of a Russian Blue with her sleek gray coat and expressive eyes, but she is a mixed breed. While Russian Blues are sometimes considered more allergy-friendly, we cannot guarantee how she would affect someone with allergies. She’s done her job as a mama. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. Adoption fee $60.
