Russian Blue kittens & cats in Greensburg, Indiana

Ember (Ember Baby) was born March 20, 2021. She is half Russian Blue and part Tabby. Ember is a very sweet and loving cat who can be very vocal. She has a big heart and loves to be right there with you during every moment.

Meet Mystery! The mystery is believed to be a 2-3-year-old Russian Blue mix. What a sweet shy boy. Just lacks confidence in every way. But given the time and space, he's the best! He can be hand-shy at first with humans but comes around eventually. He is her affectionate playful nurturing cat. The mystery was a stray cat in the neighborhood that a little 4-year-old girl fed and loved since kitten. She fed all the kitties daily on her front lawn. One day Mystery showed up with a fractured leg. The neighbor's dog had gotten him. It took 2 months to trap him, but he made it. By the time we could trap him his leg healed wrong. The only option was amputation. We decided not to proceed with it unless he showed an inability to use it or appeared in pain. We have not witnessed either. So he heated his leg. Here we are 18 months later and he's doing great. His best buddy here is Ace. They tend to stick together and lean on one another. They are not bonded at all just best buddies. Mystery cannot be an only pet. He needs a buddy. Whatever species as long as it's friendly and allows Mystery to lean on them for support, comfort, and loving. Mystery is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Violet showed up at an apartment complex where a group of ladies feed the outside cats. She was too friendly to leave behind, so the feeder scooped her up! She was not spayed or microchipped (she is now) and no owner was found. So lucky her - she became a Purrfect Friends Cat!! She is gorgeous and sweet and happy to be rescued. Born likely fall of 2022, she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $60. Samurai (Sammy) is friendly, affectionate, and playful; has a doglike purrrsonality!  He's 7 years old, neutered (male), microchipped, and current with all recommended vet care (which included recent tooth removal and a root canal!!). He had been a companion to someone who had serious health issues & couldn't keep him anymore, so was taken in by a good samaritan to help find him a good home. He's very easy-going, laid back, accomodating - he recently attended a huge adoption event riding in/displayed in a large pet stroller - handled it like a champ - got lots of attention & petting & then took a nap!
