Meet Killua, gorgeous 10-year-old Russian Blue. He is absolutely stunning, the classic blue-grey coat, bright green eyes, and that unmistakable Russian Blue personality. He is smart, active, playful, and deeply loving. He wants nothing more than to be your whole world. And that's exactly why we're rehoming him. We have a busy household with young children and we simply cannot give him the constant one on one attention and calm environment he needs and deserves. This is Ryu (pronounced Ree-You)! He turned 6 on May 16th. If you are looking for a shadow, Ryu is the perfect match for you! He is a very loyal cat and will follow you whenever you call. He LOVES his spots in the windows to bird watch. He does very well with kids. He does NOT like our dog, even when he just gets close to him. He also does not get along with other cats. We adopted him and his sister (Rize) together but he pretty much always chased her around and she was not a fan of that. Over the years, he has seemed to thrive better if we seclude him from the other cats and I want him to finally have a home where he would be fully comfortable. He is not up-to-date on vaccinations. All of our cats are strictly indoor cats. They all had their initial vaccinations and tested negative for FeLV prior to adopting them.

This handsome guy is one of those special kitties who just needs someone willing to let him bloom at his own pace. And trust us... he’s already come so far in his foster home. Boone may not be ready for the whole “picked up and carried like royalty” experience yet, but he is ready to quietly steal your heart. He now walks right up to his foster mom for love and affection, often leaning against her leg like a fuzzy little side hug to let her know, “Hey... I like you a lot.” 🥹 Boone is also a certified animal socialite. He loves other cats and even gets along wonderfully with his foster family’s dog. Basically, Boone likes everyone... as long as everyone respects personal space and possibly brings treats. And speaking of treats... Boone is extremely food motivated. The path to this shy boy’s heart is paved with snacks, dinner bowls, and the gentle crinkle of a treat bag. If you open a can of food, expect sudden confidence. Boone doesn’t need perfection.
