Russian Blue kittens & cats in Lapeer, Michigan

Maestro is a perfect pal. Just a really cool cat who wants to be a loyal companion. He greets you by circling your legs, beadbutting, and rubbing against you while you pet him. He loves affection and will rub his forehead against yours while you scratch his chin and cheeks. He purrs with delight to let you know he's thankful. He's a fun boy who likes to hang out and have a good time, chill with you and watch tv. He enjoys looking at birds and squirrels out the window, and he loves chairs. Sitting on them, napping on them, chairs are kind of his thing. The owner passed away leaving behind several cats oddly housed in confinements. Maestro was living in a kennel with limited freedoms and just a metal chair that he always sat on. He can be vocal and not shy to let you know if he wants something, and wasted no chance to introduce himself and seek our help from captivity. He is a very smart and domesticated cat who likely had a normal home prior to his kenneled home. He knew he deserved better and never gave up hope. Rescue came, and we put him into a loving foster home. He is adjusting nicely and appreciating the comforts and ability to free roam and explore his environment. Although his personality is naturally friendly and social, his foster has been working to build his confidence and show him he's important. He is developing a sense of belonging and trust that he is no longer forgotten and has a wonderful life ahead. They eat breakfast together and watch tv as Maestro is glued to the set. Almost human-like, hanging with a buddy or having a roommate. He follows you around, comes when you call him, calls you to come get him... we say he likes to be rescued over and over. He will sometimes hide and call out for you to find him and hold him for snuggles. He loves that reassurance and reminder that he was not left behind and is safe in loving arms. Maestro is a magnificent Russian Blue with plush gray hair. He's very well-mannered, neat and clean, soft and luxurious. He is healthy and fully vetted, perfect with litter box. He will do best as an only pet in a calm, loving environment where he can be someone's best friend.

Nova is a 5 y/o cat. She looks exactly like a Russian blue, although I don't have any paperwork to back it up. She was given to me when her owner had to move to India and her paperwork did not go through on time. When I first got her she went through some adjustment period but after a few weeks she became very sweet and cuddly with me. Any time I sit down she jumps into my lap and purrs. She uses kitty litter box no problem, scratches only the scratcher and generally doesn't cause any trouble. However, I already have a cat and they just don't get alone. I think Nova is going to do best as the only cat in the household. She is fixed and vaccinated. I have all her medical paperwork. I will be also giving her bed, toys, carrier, litter box, kitty litter and food supply.

Duchess is 7 and declawed. Her bday is 2.8.16. We acquired Duchess from a breeder in Ohio. Duchess would be best in a house with no other pets, so she can receive undivided attention. She is soft, lovable and loves to snuggle on you when you're sleeping. She's still playful. Duchess started having behavioral issues about 6 months ago when my mother-in-law brought her outdoor, clawed, female cat to our house during a long visit. It was shortly after that when Duchess began marking her territory by spraying on the wall. This is unusual for a cat that has been spayed. My mother-in-law also has a female Chihuahua and now that dog is a permanent part of our home as well. We already have a female Doberman. This has made it sad that we will no longer be able to keep our cat. We've had her since she was 8 weeks old, but it isn't fair to Duchess to endure this daily stress. Our vet suggested anxiety medicine, but it we haven't tried it. Fee covers recent vet visit, food, and litter box.
