Story
If you'd like to meet Daryl, please read his full profile. Also, please note, while we are listing him as a Russian Blue, he is likely a mixed breed and is therefore, not "hypoallergenic". Also, please note he is FIV+; while it isn't a huge deal, please educate yourself on this condition. Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. Walk-in hours are also available if that is more convenient for you. www.ggohinc.com Say "Hi" to Daryl. This sweet fella is the most beautiful soul you will ever meet. He is gentle and calm. And yes, a bit shy but once you meet him, you'll understand that trait and fall completely for him - he will put you under his spell - it's unavoidable! It took Daryl a while to accept us humans but boy, does he ever now. He loves belly rubs and head butts. And treats - that's a big YES please. And all of this is on his terms - he will come to you when he wants attention and he'll quietly step away when he's done. He prefers to be at eye level with you and is not real keen on being picked up (at least not yet, anyway). He's great with other cats and often can be found snuggling in a pile o' kitties. And he's good with children, but prefers the calmer variety. :) Daryl will likely need some time to adjust to new surroundings so we ask that you be prepared for that and not expect him to just instantly be at home with you. It will take time, but he is sooooo worth it. You really should come meet him - he is such a special fella and we just know you'll love him. Also to mention, Daryl is FIV+. It's really not a huge deal, but please be aware of this and educate yourself on what owning an FIV+ cat entails. Most important for FIV+ cats is a healthy diet, a stable and safe environment, and regular, routine vet visits (at least yearly) to ensure he's in tip-top shape. FIV+ cats can live with non-FIV cats as long as they aren't aggressive or dominant, and Daryl is neither of those. With proper care and a good home, Daryl will like have a life span that is not different than any other cat. If his FIV status is a deal-breaker for you, we certainly understand but if it's not, please come meet him and let him show you just how wonderful he truly is. A quick tidbit on Daryl's background - he came to us some time ago from the humane society. He was from a farm colony and arrived at the HS with his brother; GGOH accepted them both. His brother was initially much more outgoing and found a home in short order - can it be Daryl's turn now? So what do you say, can you give this sweet fella a chance? Give him unconditional love? Give him the home he deserves? Gosh we sure hope so! Daryl's approx. DOB is 3/24/2020.

God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Cerulean is a bit shy at first, but give him time and you’ll see a thoughtful, curious kitten emerge. He loves watching from the sidelines and joining in once he feels safe and comfortable.

It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Livia is a gentle soul who’s still learning that the world is a safe place. Loud noises and sudden movements might send her scurrying to a cozy hiding spot, but with patience, soft voices, and quiet companionship, she slowly comes out of her shell. Once Livia learns to trust you, the bond you’ll build will be truly special — the kind built on love, patience, and quiet understanding.

🐾 Meet Randy! 🐾Randy is a 1-year-old male kitty who is all about the love! Whether it’s pets, treats, or cozy snuggles, Randy is 100% in — the perfect lap cat for someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion. 💙Randy can be a little reserved at first, and that makes sense — he came to us as an owner surrender after being harassed by the resident dog in his previous home. He spent much of his life hiding and even had some rough experiences with a cat and a large dog, so he may feel safest as the only animal in a home. That said, Randy is sweet, gentle, and curious, and we’re still getting to know him in the shelter environment. He’s learning to feel confident and secure, and with the right patient, loving adopter, he’ll thrive.✨ Quick Facts About Randy:1-year-old male catLoves attention, snuggles, and lap timeShy at first, but warms up quicklyMay do best as the only petCame in as an owner surrenderRandy is ready to find a calm, patient home where he can feel safe, loved, and finally get the lap snuggles he’s always dreamed of.🐱 Apply to meet or adopt Randy:👉 www.hsbcpets.com/adopt If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt
