URGENT: Help Us Find Mulan a Loving Home Caleb, 32, is waiting for a life-saving double lung transplant. Because of the medications he’ll need after surgery, he can no longer keep his beloved cat, Mulan. This heartbreaking decision isn’t by choice—it’s the only way to protect his health. With a heavy heart, Caleb is searching for the perfect home for his beloved Russian Blue,  Mulan , whom he adopted as a kitten in 2019 after she had been rescued from an abusive and neglectful situation. Mulan is spayed, healthy, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all of her veterinary care. She comes with her food, litter box, litter, toys, and everything she needs. Because of her difficult past, Mulan takes time to trust new people. She isn’t the kind of cat who will jump into a stranger’s lap on day one—but if you’re patient and allow her to settle in at her own pace, you’ll earn the love of a wonderful companion. She would do best in a quiet home without children and would prefer to be an only cat. She may also do well with a calm, cat-friendly dog. Her veterinarian has prescribed a small daily dose of Prozac to help with her anxiety.
