Emma is a beautiful gray girl with big, curious eyes and a sweet personality. She can be a little reserved at first, but once she has time to settle in and feel comfortable, her personality starts to shine. Emma is cat friendly and would be a great option for a home with other feline friends. She is also FIV+, but that certainly doesn't stop her from enjoying life! FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives and can safely live alongside other friendly cats with proper introductions and a peaceful home environment. Emma is looking for an indoor-only home where she'll be loved for exactly who she is. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) affects a cat’s immune system, but many FIV+ cats live long, happy lives with normal veterinary care. ❤️ And something many people don’t realize: FIV is mainly spread through deep bite wounds, not by sharing food bowls, water bowls, litter boxes, grooming, or simply living together. Velvet was discovered abandoned in my apartment building so I took her in. I wasn't sure if she would get along with my cat that I've had for a few years and while she was fine, he was not. He has special needs so I need to give her a different home, even though it breaks my heart. She's an incredibly adorable kitty. Very playful and needs lots of attention. Seriously, a lot, so be aware of that. She needs lots of play time or can be a handful. She is very curious and does not seem intimidated by either my other cat nor my friend's Chihuahua that came over one time, so I think she's fine with other animals but that's all I have to go on.Shots and everything up to date.
