Hi! My name is Nemo! I am looking for a new home because my family does not want me anymore :( I hurt my sister dog when we were playing now she can barely see. I need help getting a new family please!

Born on the streets of Wilmington but grew up in our cat room, KARYN is feral but not street savvy. She came into the rescue too old to be socialized and too young to be streetsmart. We are hoping that Karyn can be acclimated to barn life or, more ideal, a home where she could do her own thing and be loved and cared for from a distance. After about six years with us, we still can’t touch her except for when she comes down to eat her canned food - and then it’s only brief and she is not trusting if even our long term volunteers. Karyn is safe with us for the rest of her life but we would love to see if she flourishes in an actual home. Karyn has been spayed and tested negative for FIV/Leukemia. Buffy is an affectionate, playful adult female. She has been raised in a foster home since she was a kitten. She came in with a litter of kittens very sick with a cold. As you can see, she is now healthy and looking for a furrrever home! She has very soft, plushy silver fur, and is affectionate and quiet. Buffy loves to play with balls of tin foil, and likes to sit next to you on the couch. She likes to be petted very much, and will submit to a medical exam by a vet just fine, but like many cats, does not like to be picked up and held. Buffy is quiet and shy. She currently lives in a home with other cats and gets along fine, but gets picked on by stronger personalities. Buffy does well with children who are older and can pet her gently.
