Russian Blue kittens & cats in Slatington, Pennsylvania

My name may be Silly, but there’s actually nothing silly about me at all. I’m a chatty, loving, and gentle girl who will make it very easy for you to fall in love. I came from a home with many other cats, and when my owner needed to reduce the number of cats in the house, I found myself looking for a new beginning. While my world changed overnight, I haven’t let it dim my sweet personality. I still greet people with affection, ask for attention, and happily chat away as if we’ve known each other forever. I love other cats and get along wonderfully with them. I’m also very food-motivated, so a tasty snack is a quick way to win my heart. As for dogs, I’m not quite sure how I feel about them yet, but I do know one thing: kids are going to adore me. I’m patient, gentle, and would love nothing more than to curl up beside them while they read me a story or spend the afternoon together. All I want is a family to call my own, one that will love me as much as I’ll love them. I’ve already lost one home, and I’m hoping my next one will truly be forever. Could that forever home be yours? If you have questions about me, please email beaconofhoperescue@gmail.comTo fill out an application, go to https://beaconofhoperescue.com and click 'Adoption Application' at the top.  An application is required to schedule a meet and greet. All Beacon of Hope Rescue cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV tested. ##2786311##

Meet Dessi,a professional snuggler and certified goofy girl whose nickname is Velcra because she is like velcro, following her foster around!Dessi's Rescue StoryDessi’s story didn’t have the easiest beginning (sadly). This sweet girl was deserted by her previous owners and left to fend for herself on the streets of Kensington before being rescued and given a second chance at the cozy life she so deserves. Despite everything she’s been through, Dessi is an incredibly affectionate, trusting little lady with so much personality and love to give.Dessi's Foster SaysDessi is a very sweet cat, she also gives hugs, and she loves to chirp/meow! At approx. 1 year old, Dessi is still a kitten at heart. She’s wonderfully goofy and playful, and loves being involved in whatever her humans are doing. She’s also extremely communicative (expect plenty of adorable chirps and little conversations throughout the day — Dessi has thoughts, and she would very much like to share them with you!!)When she’s not busy making you laugh or telling you about her day, Dessi is a total lovebug. She’s snuggly and happiest when she can be close to her people. She has that perfect combination of silly and sweet that makes it almost impossible not to fall in love with her. Adopt (or foster) Desi today!!!NOTEDessi is being fostered in Philadelphia, PA 19125

Dumpling is an amazing cat. I’m truly heartbroken to have to be doing this. Behavior issues have arisen with our children. I would recommend he not be in a house with small children. This is a new bavior and my other cats have had no change.Gets along perfectly with other cats. Loves to play. Does not like being held but will bonk and cuddle you on his terms. Overall, a relaxed cat. I adore this cat.. And he deserves the best home. Neutered. Unsure of shots as I lost his records during a move.

Marley is a very affectionate cat, but on his terms. He will jump into bed as I wake, and head butt my hand for some pets and rubs while he purrs loudly. He will lose is mind meowing while waiting to be fed. But he will rarely make a sound the rest of the day. He will climb into your lap as you watch some tv, but he is not a big fan of being picked up. He seems to like women, more than men. By the way I am a man, I only say that about liking woman because he was my girlfriend's cat and had to warm up to me after she left. Marely does get along with other cats. I actually have two cats right now, both up for adoption. Pepper and Marley will occasionally play with each other but are not inseparable. They never sleep next to each other and spend the day apart. Marely is the alpha cat who will occasionally groom Pepper. I am having to move in with my brother who is deathly allergic to cats and need to find good homes for these two.
