Story
Ruby is a one year old, 55 pound mix breed. She is loving, affectionate, smart, and eager-to-please girl who absolutely loves her people. She is a big cuddler, loves treats, car rides, swimming, playing fetch, and diving off docks and rafts. She has grown up in a busy home with three older children and is happiest when she is included in family life. Ruby is crate trained and a great sleeper. One of her funny little quirks is that she loves to suckle on her pillow, and she has the longest tongue we’ve ever seen! She knows her commands well and has completed two puppy training classes. Ruby can take a little time to warm up to new people and may be unsure when unfamiliar people approach her. She can get very excited when she sees other dogs while on leash and may lunge because she wants to get to them. She does well around other dogs when staying with her pet sitter. She would do best with a patient owner who is willing to give her time to feel comfortable.
