Hi, I’m Yuki! 🐾❄️🤍
I’m a 6-year-old Akita/Samoyed mix with a beautiful personality, a confident spirit, and so much love to give! I'm a sweet, intelligent girl who loves spending time with her people, and I'm ready to find a forever family to call my own! 🤍
I'm the perfect combination of affectionate and independent. I absolutely love being around my humans, but I'm not a Velcro dog who needs to be in your lap every second. I'm perfectly happy relaxing nearby while you go about your day. Whether you're gardening in the backyard, enjoying some fresh air, or just hanging out at home, I'll happily keep you company!
One of my favorite things in the world is playing with other dogs! I get along with both big and small dogs, but I'd especially love a larger dog sibling who can keep up with me during playtime. My foster has a German Shepherd, and we have the best time running around the yard together. Sometimes we play, and other times we just relax beside our humans while they work outside. 🤍
I'm also a very smart girl who loves making my people happy! I already know some basic commands and am continuing to work on things like "stay" and "leave it." I walk nicely on a leash, have great house manners, and don't destroy things around the house. I'm mostly house trained, although I may still have an occasional accident while adjusting to my routine.
I do have a little bit of a voice sometimes, especially when I'm crated, but the good news is that I've done wonderfully being left out in the house! I would much rather have the freedom to relax comfortably than spend long hours in a crate.
My ideal family would be one that enjoys including me in everyday life. I'm confident, friendly, and easygoing, so I'd love a home where I can enjoy adventures with my people and spend plenty of time outdoors. I wouldn't be happy being crated and left alone for most of the day.
❄️ My ideal home:
🤍 A loving family who enjoys spending time together
🤍 A larger dog sibling who loves to play
🤍 A securely fenced backyard for running and exploring
🤍 Someone who will continue reinforcing my training
🤍 A home where I'm included in daily activities and not crated for long periods
🤍 A family who appreciates an affectionate but independent companion
💌 A word from my foster:
"Yuki is such a sweet, confident, and easygoing girl. She loves being around her people but is perfectly content doing her own thing nearby. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves playing with our German Shepherd. She's smart, eager to please, and has been such an easy companion to have around. She deserves a family who will include her in their everyday adventures!"
I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just a family who will love me, a doggy best friend to play with, and a backyard where I can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.
If you're looking for a beautiful, confident, loving girl who can be your adventure buddy and your peaceful companion at home… I'm your girl! 🐾❄️🤍
