Max is a beautiful white boy with soft brown eyes and a broader, sturdier build that gives him a bit of an Akita-like look, though he is officially listed as a Siberian Husky mix. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on August 2nd, brought in after his previous owner reported that he and his companion Enzo kept escaping the home. At 4.5 years old, Max is a settled, mature dog with a calm, confident presence.
Max is great on a leash and knows how to sit, showing off good manners and a real willingness to work with his person. He is good with children, dog friendly, and cat friendly, making him a wonderfully adaptable fit for many different kinds of households.
Max arrived at the shelter alongside Enzo, and the two share a history together. Adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing both boys home, so that companionship can continue - and with two dogs prone to wandering, a securely fenced yard would go a long way toward giving them both a safe place to settle in for good.
