Hi there! My name is Jackson, and I’m a sweet Lab mix on the hunt for my furever home. I’m a mellow, laid-back guy who loves lounging on the couch and soaking up all the cuddles I can get. If you’re into relaxing at home, I’m definitely your type—I’m a big cuddle bug and would love to be by your side, especially after a fun play session!
I’m a velcro dog, which means I’ll stick by your side and happily follow you around. I’m a little shy and nervous at first, so I’ll need some time to get comfortable, but once I trust you, I’ll be your best friend for life.
I get along well with other dogs, so I’m dog-friendly and could definitely share my home with a canine buddy. I might also be okay with cats, so we could test that out! I’m still learning some basic manners, and I’ll need basic training to help me become the best boy I can be. I can be a little aloof or indifferent sometimes, but I promise I’m always loving and gentle.
I’m a quick learner and love to soak up new information, but I’ll need some work on my leash manners—I might get a little distracted when we’re out for walks. I’ll require periodic grooming to keep me looking and feeling my best. Don’t worry—I’m good for grooming and good for vet care, so I’m easy to manage in those areas.
I’m looking for a home that will be patient with me as I adjust to my new surroundings and work on my training. Multiple visits are recommended to make sure we’re a great match, and I promise that once I settle in, you’ll have a loyal and loving companion for life!
