Buddy is a 6-year-old, 16-pound beagle mix with the sweetest soul. He’s a loving boy who truly shines when he’s with his favorite people and would be happiest by your side, soaking up attention and affection.Buddy was found as a stray, but he clearly had some good life experience along the way. The kind people who took him in shared that he lived peacefully with their cat and dog—and even met their donkey! Here with us, we’ve learned that Buddy does enjoy other dogs, though he can sometimes be a bit dominant. He’s currently gaining confidence by going on walks with other dogs and has already made great improvements.Buddy is generally a mellow, easygoing guy, but he’ll surprise you with the occasional burst of joyful zoomies that show off his playful side. Loud noises like cars and garbage trucks can still be a little scary for him—but honestly, who can blame him?At the end of the day, Buddy is a gentle, affectionate dog who would make anyone very happy. He’s ready for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated the way he deserves.
