Meet Lovey, an irresistibly sweet girl who’s ready to find her forever family!
Lovey is a 2-month-old Chihuahua/Beagle/Boxer mix, weighing about 5 pounds. She was surrendered from the Maricopa Flats and Taft area and is now thriving in foster care with Shelter Hope.
Lovey is everything you’d hope for in a puppy. She is playful, affectionate, adventurous, super snuggly, and great with kids. She gets along well with her foster family's dogs too! She may be a little shy at first but once she warms up, she is so snuggly and loving. Her tail seems to never stop wagging, and she absolutely loves being with her people. She happily follows you from room to room (and may accidentally trip you up along the way!). She is a true family pup who just wants to be included in whatever you’re doing.
She loves chewing on toys, playing, and soaking up attention. Like most babies, she is still working on potty training and kennel skills, but she is learning and just needs patience and consistency.

If selected, our rescue counselor will contact you to schedule a phone interview. Please monitor your email and spam folder for our message. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation.
