Story
Bug is a 4-year-old Basset Hound/Beagle mix with short legs, a long body, and a nose that never quits. He came to us from another rescue. At 35 lbs., he may look compact, but don’t be fooled—this little guy is strong and loves to move. Bug’s favorite thing in the world is getting out for brisk, scent-filled walks where he can follow his nose and take in all the smells. He’ll need some help with leash manners, as he can pull when something exciting catches his attention. Despite his enthusiasm on walks, Bug is an easygoing, happy-go-lucky companion who enjoys people and takes life as it comes. He’s open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and would do well in a home with kids.
