Beau is a transport from Ohio who has happily settled into life as a Southern gentleman. He enjoys relaxing in a cozy bed for naps and savoring two good meals each day. Beau like using his doggie door to go to the backyard whenever he chooses. Beau was raised around other dogs and coexists well with cats, whom he calmly ignores in favor of spending time with his people. His gentle, friendly nature helps him form bonds easily with both humans and other animals. As a senior beagle, Beau is in good overall health and continues to enjoy a comfortable, relaxed lifestyle. His birthday is April 30, 2014.

Story
We have a Blue Heeler and a two year old daughter, and Romance gets along great with our daughter, and our Heeler when our daughter isn’t around them…but our Heeler is very protective and came to us with a previous injury, and they’re having trouble getting along. When our daughter is present between them our heeler gets territorial and mistreats Roma and she just deserves so much better. Romance is extremely sweet, cuddly, intelligent and loving. We just don’t have time to invest in what’s needed to keep the dogs separated from each other and our daughter. She will make an incredible addition to the right home and bring her new owner a lifetime of joy and loyalty
