Story
Name: Cedric Age: 1 year Breed: Coonhound mix Size: 51.2 lbs Special Needs: Heartworm positive Adoption Application: https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 Contact: transport@hssm.org Meet Cedric! Cedric is a tri-colored (Tri-Wizard, if you will) shepherd/hound mix with main-character energy and a whole lot of good-boy magic. At just over a year old, he’s still young, still learning, and already very good at the important things , like sitting perfectly for a treat and greeting the world with a wagging tail. True to his hound side, Cedric loves to run the fence and chat with his dog friends. He’s social, playful, and just an all-around happy-go-lucky guy who seems to wake up each day ready for whatever adventure comes his way. We believe he’s housebroken, which means he’s well on his way to being an easy addition to a home. Friendly, fun, and full of potential, Cedric is the kind of dog who would thrive with a family, a yard, and someone who appreciates a little joyful chaos and a lot of loyalty. Cedric is heartworm positive but with the proper treatment he can live the rest of his life happy and healthy. If you’re looking for a good boy with Tri-Wizard charm and a heart of gold, Cedric is ready to choose you. Cedric's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports! --> If you are interested in adopting Cedric please fill out our online application here: (https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 - Dog). A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. For further information, please first fill out the application referenced above. **Due to import regulations we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
