Story
This is my Lola. I used to take care of my elderly father who was home with her all day. He passed in March and Lola has changed. I work 12 to 13 hours. It would be very unfair to get another dog so I tried a cat bad mistake. House has been chaos. It is not fair to Lola to be here because I can’t be with her hardly ever anymore due to my dad dying. I have to work all the time. She absolutely loves people and children more than I can even explain. Please help my Lola find a good home. She is a little anxious, but she is not a mean anxious just separation anxiety no anxiety meeting new people someone who could be with her a lot especially in the beginning is going to help her. I have a local dog trainer ready to take her and rehome her so if you are interested please reply asap she’s super sweet and smart.

Story
Oliver is an 11 year old schnoodle looking for his final home. He lost his owner due to old age and was brought to our sanctuary. Oliver was diagnosed recently with a grade 4 heart murmur, and is prescribed pimobenden tablets. He just had a full senior blood panel that looks great. He is not symptomatic from the murmur and the medication is to help the blood flow in his heart chambers. It’s very realistic this dog has many years left. He’s active and sweet, you’d know nothing was wrong with him! We are in search for a very special home for him. He loves other dogs and all people he’s very affectionate and cuddly. This Home would be understanding about his diagnosis and financially be able to keep him on his medication.

Story
Hi, I'm Jazz! (You might also know me as Arwin, but my foster mom took one look at my personality and decided Jazz fits me perfectly — and honestly? She's not wrong.) I'm a gorgeous black toy poodle girl, 4 years old and weighing in at a mighty 8 lbs of pure energy and charm. Don't let my size fool you — my foster mom says I have a poodle puppy personality, and after spending five minutes with me, you'll totally get it. I am one smart cookie — I've already mastered sit, shake, and coming when called, and my foster mom says I pick things up fast. I'm fully potty trained and even figured out the puppy pads on my own (though I usually prefer to handle my business outside like a lady). Crates? Not my thing. And being alone too long? Also not my thing. I'm a people dog through and through — I want to be right next to my human, always. My favorite things include: my toys (I carry them EVERYWHERE), chasing my ball, zooming around the yard, racing my foster poodle brother (he's fast — but I keep up), belly rubs, cuddles, and greeting absolutely everyone I meet with maximum tail wags and enthusiasm. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd do wonderfully with older, dog-savvy kids! Fair warning — I do bark when I want someone's attention, and I get a little excited around other people and dogs on leash. I'm working on my manners! Also, I love a good busy bone... but I do NOT share. Just so we know where we stand. I arrived into rescue heartworm positive, but I'm in the final stage of treatment and expected to make a full recovery — I'll be ready to zoom into my forever home very soon! If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, velcro poodle who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your personal entertainment — that's ME. Story
Hi there, I’m Hermie! I’m a sweet 5-year-old poodle mix boy weighing just 11 pounds, and I’m looking for that one special person to be my whole world. I’m very loving and affectionate with excellent manners – I’m house-trained, crate-trained, sleep in my own bed like a gentleman, and I’m even polite enough to wait until other dogs finish eating before checking for crumbs! I ride well in the car, walk great on a leash, and I get along with other dogs. And I LOVE to sit on the back of the couch and play with my toys! Now, here’s what makes me unique: I’m a one-person kind of guy who forms a VERY deep bond with my human. When I love, I love big! I can be a bit protective of my special person and I’m not always thrilled about strangers getting too close – I like to keep my circle small and my devotion big. Because of this, I need an experienced adopter who appreciates a pup with a strong personality and can guide me with confidence. I have been living in multi-dog foster homes recently and I’m learning to share my human’s attention so I think a calm, adult-only home with at least one other dog or multiple dogs would be ideal for me. No kids, please. Oh, and I eat a special Rx food due to a sensitive stomach – just a little detail to keep me feeling my best! I’m ready to be someone’s devoted companion and shadow. Story
Hi, I’m Gio! I’m an 8-year-old Maltipoo boy, 10.6 pounds of sweetness, and I have become a total Lover Boy! I came back to rescue because my person could no longer afford my care and I can’t wait to find my new family. I have limited vision, but I learned to navigate my previous home using my hearing and my nose, and with a patient family, I’m sure I can do the same in my new home. I’m confident little boy. I’m great with dogs, cats, and kids, and I love my people right back. I’m housebroken and will let you know when I need to go outside by heading toward the door or making a little noise to get your attention. I know several commands, including “go potty” and “go to bed.” I might need a potty refresher in my new home as I learn to navigate a new floor plan…speaking of a home without many steps would be ideal. I’m not much of a traditional leash walker since I cannot see my surroundings but when my person places me down, I can usually follow along. I’m also a good car rider! I just need a little time to settle in before I’m ready to relax in my bed. When I was first adopted, I was shy and wasn’t comfortable being held or cuddled. But somewhere along the way I discovered how wonderful being loved can be. Now I love being close to my people, cuddling on the couch, and giving kisses. I may bark when someone is outside or when my person leaves, but once I know everything is okay, I settle right down. At bedtime, I sleep in my own bed near my person’s bed. Recently, I’ve started asking to join my human on the big bed, too! I put my front paws up on the side when I want to be lifted up. Once I’m there, I’m very careful moving around, but because I can’t judge depth and then I need help getting back down. I can also hop onto the couch, but I need help getting down. I’m a sweet, affectionate little guy who has learned that being close to my people is my favorite thing. I don’t need to see you to know that I’m loved — I can hear you, smell you, and feel right at home beside you. I’m looking for a patient forever person who will appreciate my sweet nature, keep me safe, and let me be the devoted little companion I was meant to be. Could you be my forever home?
