Story
Meet Abigail 💕 A sweetheart who’s equal parts gentle, playful, and cuddly. Abigail can be a little shy when she first meets new friends, but give her a moment and her loving personality shines through. With calm, friendly dogs by her side, she blossoms quickly. She clearly takes cues from other dogs and would love a canine buddy to help her build confidence. This girl feels right at home in a cozy environment. Abigail loves the couch (who doesn’t? 😂) and happily curls up for afternoon snoozes with her dog friends. She’s still figuring out new spaces and is a bit hesitant entering unfamiliar rooms or tackling the stairs, if another dog leads the way—she’s eager to follow. Best of all, once she’s comfortable, Abigail is incredibly affectionate and sweet. She would love an active, patient family ready to help her grow into her best self. 🐾💗

Story
Welcome Logan to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 10 pound 3 to 4 month old Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) This pup is adorable with shorter legs than the other pups in this litter. He has a thicker frame and is very alert and lower energy than the siblings. He has a wavy coat and the look of a schnauzer in the face. The lady trimmed some of them so we think they will or may have a longer beard when it grows out. He is one of the biggest sized ones in the litter. He is not a shedding pup. He will need grooming to stay beautiful. He is smart and all the pups are very very affectionate. He is outgoing and adorable. We think he will not be bigger than 20 pounds full grown. She would be best in a home of a person that is not gone all day at work. He will need to finish up his puppy training and to be with his human for all the beautiful socialization to make him a well-rounded adult. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He currently is good in a crate and good with his siblings. He goes potty on a potty pad and loves being held. He would be good with someone who doesn’t want a shedding dog and one that is smart and easier to train. We would love someone who has had the schnauzer or poodle breed as they know all the lovely characteristics of this breed. We are a small group and these puppies will get lots of applications. We ask that you are patient while we assess for the best fitting home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Meet me at 348 Old Colony Rd. Eastford, CT Meet Luckie! Luckie is a 57-lb Doodle who found himself at the shelter after his owner tragically lost their home in a fire. Despite the upheaval, Luckie hasn’t lost his joyful spirit one bit. This super happy boy lives for attention and will happily flop onto his back for belly rubs any chance he gets! Luckie knows basic commands like sit and paw, and he walks nicely on a leash. He’s affectionate, eager to please, and ready to bring smiles to his next forever family. He is medically up-to-date and will be neutered before he goes home. Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.
