Stubbs is epic sweet and epic teeny tiny at 3lbs! READY THIS SATURDAY!! To apply go to https://rnrpets.org/form-dog-application/ - and make sure to give us as much info as possible. DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 9146885499 - please do an application BEFORE texting Meet our 2 bros - Stubbs and Mr Stubby (lol) - 8-9 wk old Scottie Schnauzers who are going to WOW you with their cuteness and charm. These teeny tots come from our Kentucky rescue after being left at a shelter when their owner supposedly bred the parents and then had no placement for the last 2 puppies. Happily they are healthy and adorable (of course) and having a blast in foster. They are learning to be crate and house trained and to have good manners. This breed mix is SUPER fun and great family dogs that are good for most applicants - can live in apartments too. But remember in a suburban or rural setting they cannot be left alone outdoors alone without supervision due to predators easily able to grab and run (aerial and on foot). Make sure to research all the fun (and training) they will need to be the perfect BFF - this breed mix can be super stubborn so PRO trainer is a MUST to ensure a lifelong good boy! Love dogs cats kids! Video and more pics upon request as they just became available so this week we have them in our clinic for final vetting. These cuties are ready soon so make sure to apply now before others jump ahead. They will likely grow to be small dogs as they are only 3 lbs (kitten sized omg!) at this age. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... We did see the parents in photos - mom a Schnauzer and dad a Scottie (but not DNA confirmed) so not sure if they will stay under 10 lbs but under 25 seems a good guess - the owners showed photos of parents but for obvious reasons are not reliable on exact breeds. Also expect to hire a pro trainer - as all puppies of this age and breed need proper pro training to be perfect companions. They have had their first vaccines so adopters will have to complete final rounds and have been microchipped dewormed and had all preventatives per age - adopters will need to do our spay/neuter contract as they are too small to be fixed at this time - they are currently UNDER 4 lbs each (around 7m of age to be fixed unless vet says to wait per breed or medical advisement). Minimum 750 donation plus mandatory neuter deposit required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.

Story
Hey! I’m Fletcher — a 5-year-old purebred Scottish Terrier, about 24 pounds, and finally free from the puppy mill I was stuck in. I didn’t get the gentle beginning every dog deserves, but I’m making up for lost time now. I’m a sweet, snuggly little guy who just wants soft hands, warm voices, and a home where I can learn what family really feels like. I’m good with other dogs, I’m very easygoing and I go with the flow. I can be a bit timid at first, but once I know you’re kind, I warm up quickly and love being near you. I’m looking for a home with lots of love and without young kids. I’m ready for my second chance, and I promise that once I trust you, I’ll be the most loyal little companion you could ask for. If you’re looking for a small, loving sidekick, I just might be the one for you! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.
