Originally here as a 5 week old kitten, Kitty has found her way back to the shelter through no fault of her own over a decade later. Despite her age, Kitty still has tons of energy and would love a good mix of snuggles, play time and independence. Her previous owner described her as an excellent hunter, so any toy that she can chase will easily make her list of favourites! Kitty also enjoys spending her time basking in the sun, napping in the coziest spots and cuddling up to her people when she needs some attention. While she doesn`t love being brushed, she understands that it is a requirement for her longer fur and will tolerate it. Due to this, Sheru would be best suited to a home with previous cat experience. When he was in a foster home, we learned that he loves to sleep, sunbathe, sit on the couch, chase balls and play with catnip. He also LOVES to talk, and has a wide range of noises that he makes depending on his mood. What Sheru does NOT love is closed doors; he knows he is a king and acts accordingly. While he loves pets, he will absolutely let you know when he`s had enough with a little `love bite`, and may give these whenever he is displeased. For this reason, he is looking for an adult-only home. Another perk (?) that comes with Sheru is that he will need regular vet visits to check up on and express his anal glands.
