Story
Talk about a glow-up! When Sushi arrived a little over two weeks ago, she was underweight, dealing with an eye infection and damage to one of her eyes. Way more than any kitten should deal with! It should be all canned kitten food treats, toys and pets in our opinion but it never works out that way. After several vet visits, medication, and some TLC in foster care, this girl has made an incredible comeback. Her eyes have healed far better than we expected, and while one may look a little different, we think it just adds to her charm. Her vet is happy with her progress, noting she has pupillary response to light in that eye! We are amazed and thrilled with the resilience of kittens! No surgery for her is not the outcome we were expecting. Sushi is playful, full of personality, and not shy about letting you know when she wants something. She loved having kitten siblings in her foster home, so she’d likely enjoy a feline friend to keep her company. Between her playful antics and big personality, Sushi is sure to keep life interesting. She’s come a long way in a short time, and now she’s ready for her next chapter with someone who will love her just the way she is.Thank you for considering this pet for adoption!
