My favorite thing in the whole world is being close to my people. Give me some pets and affection, and you'll hear it start right away. 🥰One important thing to know about me is that I am FeLV positive (Feline Leukemia Virus). While that may sound scary, many FeLV-positive cats live happy, loving lives for years with good nutrition, regular veterinary care, and lots of love. 💗FeLV only affects cats—it cannot be passed to people, dogs, or other non-feline pets. The virus is most commonly spread between cats through close contact, such as sharing food and water bowls, mutual grooming, or other exchanges of saliva. Because of this, I need to be the only cat in the home or live with other FeLV-positive cats. Please don't let my FeLV status discourage you from meeting me. I don't know that I'm any different from any other kitty. I still love treats, toys, cuddles, sunny windows, and spending time with my people. Before coming to the shelter, it’s believed I was once a house kitty who either got lost or was sadly left to fend for myself.
