Story
This handsome, huge, hunk of love is a very sweet couch potato, who loves petting and scratching and will play with wand toys. He is quite friendly and true to the Maine Coon breed, he is VERY chill, has enormous feet and a large build. He likely has some percentage of MC but he's not telling. No extra charge for him. He was found as an outdoor stray.Looking for a chill, big boy? Brutus will make a great companion. He is fine with other cats and is estimated to be around 3 years old. Do not know about dogs, so probably not. He can be visited in south Fort Collins.CP   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. Story
Meet Brooks — Your Shy, Handsome, Gentle-Hearted Companion    Brooks is a stunning long-haired black older kitten with soft, silky fur and bright, soulful eyes. He was rescued a little later in kittenhood, so the world has been a big, new place for him. With time, patience, and kindness, this sweet boy has slowly learned that humans can be safe and loving — and now he’s ready to find a home of his very own.    Personality Brooks is a sensitive, thoughtful kitten who likes to take things at his own pace. Once he feels safe, he leans in for gentle pets, purrs softly, and enjoys being near his trusted people. He’s playful, curious, and full of sweetness — he just needs someone who understands that building trust is a journey, not a race.    Loves Other Cats Brooks absolutely adores other cats. Confident feline friends help him feel braver and more at ease, so he would thrive in a home with at least one friendly resident cat who can show him the ropes.    Churu Enthusiast One guaranteed way to Brooks’s heart? Churu treats. They are his absolute favorite, and they help him bond quickly with new people. If you have Churu, he has time for you.    Ideal Home Brooks will do best in a calm, patient home with adopters who appreciate a shy kitty’s gentle process of opening up. With the right environment — love, reassurance, and maybe a confident cat buddy — he will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.   If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in earning the trust of a tender, sensitive soul, Brooks is ready to reward you with quiet affection, soft purrs, and a lifetime of love.    Brooks isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his person.
