Meet Stella — A Gentle Soul Looking for a Peaceful Home At 12 years old, Stella has mastered the art of enjoying the simple things in life: cozy naps, gentle pets, being close to her favorite people, and having a nice, peaceful place to call home. She is a calm, sweet, and easygoing girl who would love nothing more than to spend her golden years relaxing alongside someone who appreciates a quieter companion. Stella can be a little shy and sensitive, especially when she encounters sudden movements, loud noises, or unfamiliar things like crinkly plastic bags. She may need a little time to settle in and feel safe in a new environment, but once she knows she’s home, her sweet personality truly shines. She loves being petted and absolutely LOVES being combed—it’s one of her favorite ways to spend time with her person! While Stella enjoys being close to her people, she isn’t a fan of being picked up and would much rather keep all four paws on the ground. She may not be a traditional lap cat, but she loves simply being nearby, keeping you company while you go about your day. Her idea of a perfect evening is probably finding a cozy spot, getting some pets, taking a nap, and knowing her people are close. Stella gets along with other cats and dogs as long as they are calm, respectful, and willing to give her space. She isn’t a fan of loud, hyper energy and would prefer furry companions who understand that an older lady deserves a little peace and quiet. Because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in a home without small children. Stella is a pretty low-maintenance girl who isn't asking for much—just a peaceful home, a little patience while she settles in, plenty of gentle affection, and someone who will appreciate the quiet companionship of a wonderful senior cat.
