Meet Toast, a handsome male tabby with a shy and gentle heart. He’s timid at first and needs time to warm up, but treats are the fastest way to become his best friend — he’s very treat-driven! Toast is mostly a quiet observer who loves staring out the window, watching the world go by. He can be a little silly once he’s comfortable, especially when he hops on his favorite cat wheel for a good run. With patience and love, Toast will blossom into a sweet, loyal companion.  Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Meet Astrid — A Sweet Little Momma’s Girl Meet Astrid, a beautiful medium-haired tabby with gorgeous green-hazel eyes and a heart as sweet as her face. Since coming into foster care, Astrid’s coloring has changed a little, and she is developing some beautiful white, tan, and gray tones throughout her coat — making her even more unique as she grows. Astrid is a true sweetheart. The moment her foster mom walks into the room, Astrid comes right over to say hello. She loves her pets and is always happy to get some attention. She has also earned enough trust to let her foster mom hold her like a baby and give her little tummy kisses. ❤️ She absolutely loves playing with her siblings and is happiest when she has a playmate to romp around with. But despite being playful and adventurous, Astrid seems to be a bit of a momma’s girl. She has a special bond with her mom and loves knowing that she is nearby. When she's ready for a nap, Astrid has a couple of favorite spots: her mesh hammock-style bed or a big dog bowl. Apparently, the best kitten beds don't necessarily come from the pet store!
