Poor Spicey...she was a shy kitten, but because of her fluffy appearance, was adopted fairly quickly. She was returned because she behaved like a cat (scratching furniture) and was banished to another room by herself. That, of course, has exacerbated her shyness. However, Spicy has come a long way since being in her foster home! She will occasionally allow pets on her terms, with short interactions, and though she doesn`t like to sit on a lap she may jump up next to you for a quick visit.Spicey’s favorite activity is dropping a small nerf ball down the stairs and bringing it back up to do it again. She loves to look out the window and chirp at the birds. She does live in a house with other adult cats, and will occasionally engage in a game of chase!Spicey will need a forever home where her humans will be patient while she gets comfortable in her new place; she tends to run away if it is too noisy or if you get too close to her. She is, however, a sweet kitty with good litterbox manners and a healthy appetite! Finneas has such an adorable little meow for such a big fluffy cat, and he uses that cute meow for attention and pets! He does well with other cats, but when he`s done, he finds a hidden spot on a cat tower or elsewhere to take a nap. He likes to follow our volunteers around the cat room for pets; or maybe he`s just supervising us! Sweet Violet is as pretty as a flower! She loves to sunbathe and watch birds out on the catio when the weather is warm. She is a loving girl who enjoys pets. She gets along with other cats, but when she`s had enough, she`ll find a quiet place up high to watch everything around her, or take a snooze. She will make a great companion for someone who wants company but not clingy.
