Meet Skittles, a 4 year old neutered male!This handsome grey kitty is looking for something simple and special- a patient home where he can move at his own pace and feel safe being himself. New environments can make him a little unsure at first, so he prefers to quietly observe before stepping into the spotlight.Give him time, though, and you`ll start to see the magic. Skittles would thrive in a calm household with gentle routines and kindhearted people who understand that trust is built, not rushed. Watching him grow more confident each day will be such a rewarding experience. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.

Pancake would thrive in a peaceful home where she can build confidence at her own pace. She`d do especially well with another friendly, confident cat to show her the ropes and help her feel secure. Once she feels safe, Pancakes`s quiet companionship and tender presence make her a truly special addition to the right home.
