Story
Hello, my name is Sesame! I’m a former mommy who’s ready to be the baby of your family! In May of 2025, on the first 80 degree day in Frankenmuth, somebody dumped me outside Pet Angel in a teeny tiny cage. Next to the cage, they left a rubber maid tote fully closed with my 6 6-week old kittens inside it. When the volunteers showed up for the evening shift, they found us, and quickly brought us inside to safety. Pet Angel named me Sesame, and my 6 babies after Sesame Street Characters (Grover, Elmo, Rocco, Bert, Ernie & Snuffy!) We went off to foster care, where we were safe and sound while I raised and weaned my babies, and we came back to Pet Angel when they were big enough to be without 24 hour care. I was told I was such a good mommy, and I loved being with my kittens. I weaned them, so Pet Angel separated me so my milk could dry up and I could get fixed. I recovered from my spay, got my stitches removed, and got all my shots and an FIV/FELV test done, and now I live in a free roam room with other kitties my age! My sons are getting ready to go up for adoption, but I’m ready to find my own forever home where I can be the baby of the house! I love to play with toys. I zoom around the room after springs and crinkle balls! But when I finally tucker out, I love to test out all the beds to find the softest one to lay on. I am a medium haired cat, so I’m not fully fluffy, but I’m also not fully sleek. My tail however is fluffier than the rest of my body. I’ve been told I am VERY soft when you pet me! I am a big fan of cat treats and wet food, I enjoy wrestling with my roommates Cornelius and Thumbelina, and I like to be inside hidey holes and cat tunnels! I’m on the smaller side for an adult cat, so when humans come directly at me, I get a little freaked out and scurry away. But once you get down at my level, and I realize you’re not coming at me to hurt me, I warm up to you! I love belly rubs, and I like to be brushed! I do have a small health condition, and I am hoping that this does not scare away any potential owners, but helps me find the best family who will give me all the care I may need in my life. In the end of July 2025, one of my kittens Snuffy suddenly passed away. One day he was sick, so Pet Angel took him immediately into the vet, and the next day he was gone. At first, The vet thought the symptoms looked like pneumonia. This prompted Pet Angel to take the rest of my kittens into the vet to be checked out. Upon further i

Story
This is Thumbelina (Torbie) and Cornelius (White & Gray) BFF’s, up for adoption together! Thumbelina is a polydactyl, which means she has extra toes on all her feet- that’s why we named her Thumbelina! To keep in theme with her name, we named her BFF Cornelius, after Prince Cornelius from the animation “Thumbelina!” If you’re a fan of the 1994 film Thumbelina, then I know you’re swooning over their names! Our sweet girl Thumbelina (who we have nicknamed “Thumbie”) came to Pet Angel as the first kitten of the season earlier this year as just a tiny thing, after she was thrown from a car. She had road rash on her face when we first got her, but that’s a thing of the past now! Today, Thumbelina is our most outgoing cat in the whole rescue! She loves people so much, she is always talking to everyone! She begs you to come give her attention and purrs the whole time you’re with her! She looooves to run on her cat wheel, play with catnip toys, and loves to wrestle with Cornelius! She likes to drink from her cat water fountain, and is very treat motivated! I think her future owner could teach her to do tricks using cat treats one day! For this duo, Thumbelina is the leader and Cornelius follows her lead! Cornelius (who we affectionately nicknamed “Cornie”) was transferred to Pet Angel from Bay County Animal Control. All of his littermates had been adopted at BCAC, and he was not doing well being a single kitten. He was suddenly becoming very reclous as a singleton, so he came to join Thumbelina as her partner! Cornelius LOVED Thumbelina from the moment he met her! He LEPT out of his cage, wrapped his paws around her neck, and instantly started wrestling her! Cornelius likes to follow Thumbelina around, and always follows her lead! She has really helped him come out of his shell, and show him the world isn’t so scary! Cornelius loves to lay in fluffy beds, adores hidey holes, and once he gets to know you, loves to get his belly rubbed! He is such a sweet heart! Thumbelina and Cornelius are fixed, microchipped, up to date on all their shots, and are both negative for FIV/FELV. They are looking for a strictly indoor-only home, together! They would get along with other cats, or children! Although they haven’t been tested with dogs, we think with the proper introduction and time (which we would coach you thorugh,) they would learn to get along with a dog!
