Scottish Fold kittens & cats in Toronto, Ohio

Meet Pumpkin! This big beautiful boy is approximately 18 pounds of pure sweetness! He turns heads everywhere with his cute little Scottish Fold ears. He was surrendered to rescue because his owner developed the same kind of dementia that Bruce Willis has and was placed in a nursing home. This sweet boy tested positive for FIV when our rescue was getting him ready for adoption. His owner never even knew that he had FIV. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, and perfectly normal lives - especially in loving indoor homes. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, not through casual contact so he can safely live with other friendly kitties. It is NOT transferred through sharing food/water bowls or litter boxes. He has a calm and gentle presence and carries himself like the dignified gentleman he is. He would be happy being the only cat. He was fostered with other cats but didn’t really intermingle with any of them. He enjoyed doing his own thing and keeping to himself. As you can see he loves to eat so he would definitely benefit from a weight management plan in his new home. Pumpkin is located at Petsmart - 420 Home Drive in Pittsburgh He is waiting for a family!!
