Hi there! My name is Zimba, and if you`re looking for a cat with plenty of personality, you`ve found her! I`m a friendly, independent girl who always knows what`s going on—and if you call my name, don`t be surprised when I answer back! I love chatting with my people and have lots to say, especially when I think it`s time for my canned food. Communication is important, after all. I enjoy spending time with my humans and am happy to curl up in your lap when the mood strikes. I love being petted too, but like any sophisticated lady, I prefer affection on my own terms. When I`ve had enough, I`ll simply stroll away and find my next adventure. I`m not a big fan of being picked up, and I`ll politely let you know when I`d rather keep all four paws on the ground. Speaking of paws—those are strictly look, don`t touch! When I`m not busy supervising the household, you`ll find me playing with my favourite toys. Anything that jingles, rattles, or makes fun sounds is guaranteed to get my attention. I`m curious, playful, and always ready for a little fun. I`ve lived with another cat before and got along wonderfully. In fact, my best friend is Moo. We played together, napped together, and shared plenty of nose boops. We`re a bonded pair and are looking for a forever home where we can stay together. I came to the shelter because my family was moving out of the country, but now I`m ready for my next chapter.
