What my friends at OHS say about me:I'm not overly needy and I'm happy to hang out while you binge watch your favorite TV show or read a book.I guess you could say I'm pretty "down-to-earth" - I like my feet on the floor! I can be sensitive to being picked up and held.I am a sweet and sensitive girl who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.Handling Sensitivity:I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Story
s this seat taken? My name is Samwise, Sam for short, and I am looking for a warm lap to snooze on. HEALTH NOTICE: My people believe I may have been hit by a car before they found me in the garden. My jaw hurts sometimes so it’s best if my food is softened. I have other symptoms of injuries that didn’t heal correctly. I can be a little clumsy and sometimes I hurt a little, but all that doesn’t slow me down! I just wanted to let you know since it makes me a little different. I’m really just an ordinary kitty. I like to jump up on windowsills and watch the world. I like to scratch so please give me a post or something fun for my claws. I’ll play with fuzzy mice, cardboard boxes, and I love messing up the bathroom mat. I also have an affinity to jump in the shower or tub after you’re done using them. Maybe I want to wash my paws. I’m not particularly shy with people and I’m cautiously curious of new things. But most of all, I want to sit with you. Or on you. I purr the moment you look

Story
My family attempted to help one of my daughter's friends by adopting 2 little hellraisers (Chocolate & Levi) when they could no longer keep them, but they are not acclimating well to our home and our other animals so I'm having to rehome them to someone who maybe doesn't have any other critters in the home. I've been told they are both fixed and up to date on shots, but I will be honest, I haven't taken them to our own vet as of yet. Some warnings: they both will yell at you for food like they've just spent the last 3 weeks surviving the Sahara Desert on sheer force of will and a prayer regardless of when you last filled their dish. They are still younger (approx 1-2 years) and they like to climb in, on, and around everything without regard for the wellbeing of themselves or your belongings... in other words... they have the self-preservation skills of a walnut. I would like to keep them together as they very much seem to be a bonded pair. Chocolate is female and Levi is male.
