Meet Hilo!! Hilo is a 1-year old neutered male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Hilo is currently in foster care as he was overwhelmed with shelter life. Once he settled into his foster home, he has opened up so much and is the biggest love bug! Hilo is highly food motivated and firmly believes that snacks are one of life’s greatest comforts — so a future home with plenty of tasty treats on hand is a must! When he’s not waiting for his next snack, Hilo enjoys lounging in cozy spots where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. He does well with other cats and kittens and would absolutely love to have a feline friend in his forever home, though it’s not required. Hilo has had a couple of dogs in his foster home and has really enjoyed playing, and running around with them! Because Hilo needs a bit of extra patience and understanding as he acclimates, he’s best suited for an experienced cat owner rather than a first-time adopter and any kids in his new home should be 13+. New situations can be a bit overwhelming for him, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can start him off in a small, quiet space (like an office or bathroom) to help him feel safe and settled as he adjusts. This spunky, crazy little man is always on the go, whether he's zooming through the house at top speed, launching surprise attacks on unsuspecting toys, or climbing the cat tree like he's training for the Kitten Olympics.He approaches every day like it's a brand-new adventure and has a talent for making everyone laugh with his goofy antics. When his zoomies finally run out, Spazz is happy to recharge with a catnap in a cozy hidey spot or stretched out in a warm, sunny window. He's also a big fan of mealtime and never turns down a tasty snack.Spazz will do great in nearly any home given proper introductions.
