She’s sweet, snuggly, and totally convinced that every lap was designed specifically for her.   Lucy may be named after a TV icon, but trust us — she doesn’t get into nearly as much trouble as the original Lucy… well, at least not when you’re watching. And if you ever hear her making noises, don’t worry — she’s not starting her own show, she’s just saying, “Lucy loves YOU!”   With a heart as soft as her fluffy coat and a personality that’s pure comedy gold, she’s ready to be your star. Surprisingly she fits her quirky name.  She is bursting with enthusiasm and has been starved for a person to give her endless amounts of love to.  She is still underweight, but PeiPeople will have that remedied in no time.  Grasshopper is healing from her spay and entropion surgery.  Check back for updates on this little sweet pea!  We estimate she is around 5 years old and is fostering in Utah.  December 5, 2025, 11:29 am

HI - I'M JULIE! I'm a sweet 9-year-old Shar Pei/Staffie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for awhile for a home and that's a bit sad, but I'm still hopeful my person or people will come along. I only weigh about 52 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in great athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you give me a chance and foster or adopt me?

Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
