She is quiet, house trained and gentle. She is the perfect dog and it has dumbfounded us how she ever became homeless.Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Jan is a pure delight! She is so happy and full of joy. Her absolute favorite thing in the whole world is her buddy Dan, but people are a close second! It has been so fun for her foster mom watch her blossom from the shy, reserved girl she picked up to the brave and confident girl she is now. Miss Jan is missing a lot of hair. It is most likely due to overbreeding and is expected to all grow back. It doesn't seem to bother her and she loves the skin and coat salmon oil on her food. She is quiet and sweet, walks easy on a leash, and just wants to be loved on a lap. She is both small and large dog friendly. Jan was found with another dog, Dan, and they absolutely love each other! It seems like Jan may even be Dans mother. Dan was doing poorly in the shelter because of the noise level and the stress, but Jan was doing poorly because she couldn't be with her lil man. Now, they stay uncrated together in their fosters basement and are happy entertaining each other all day. They are quiet and nondestructive when left together and uncrated. They don't have to be adopted together, but are very much bonded. Dan would do fine as an only dog or with another dog, but Jan has the best chance of succeeding by being placed with Dan, or at least with another friendly dog in the home. Both adoption fees will be sponsored by their foster if they are adopted together!

Dan is the perfect dog for anyone. He enjoys toys, puzzles, and being around people. He is excited about anyone he meets, but especially adores "his person. He can sometimes be slow to warm up when feeling spooked, but is otherwise happy, fun, and full of life! His smile is contagious. He is low maintenance and relatively low energy. He plays tug-o-war with his best friend Jan, and occasionally gets the zoomies when he wins, other than that, this sweet boy spends his days sleeping and snuggling. He is both small and large dog friendly. Dan was found with another dog, Jan, and they absolutely love each other! It seems like Jan may even be his mother. Stockings is a beautiful girl that has been waiting long enough for that special someone to stumble upon her and say, goodness girl, where have you been all my life! She has been with us for 560+ days and that's too many days too many! I mean, whats a girl gotta do to get some attention around here?? She loves everyone and everything. She deserves the world. She deserves a place to crash her head at night that is soft and cool. She deserves to have a family to call her own that she will make smile and laugh with her goofy ways. Sweet Alba. How can you not love that adorable face Alba is a 2 year old Sharpei mix. Unfortunately she didn't have a good life as was found taking cover and hiding out in the bathroom stalls at the Missions baseball field. All that is behind her now and she is ready for her own family!! Alba's great with dogs, not sure about cats. She does a cute little dance when waiting for her food in her crate.
