After first arriving as a stray in 2023 and finding his way back to us through no fault of his own, Muppet is now looking for a committed, active home where he can truly thrive.   If weekends mean trailheads, fresh air, and miles under your boots, Muppet could be your perfect match. He’s an athletic, playful guy who loves to stay engaged—whether that’s powering through a game of tug-of-war or heading out for a solid walk. He enjoys being on the move and would be happiest with an adopter who values regular hikes and outdoor adventures.   Muppet would love a home with another playful dog to join him on post-hike play sessions, but he’s equally happy being your one-and-only adventure partner as long as he gets plenty of exercise and attention. After a day on the trails, he’s content to relax, soak up the sunshine, and recharge for the next outing. A securely fenced yard is a must so he can stretch his legs and enjoy some off-leash downtime between adventures. &#226&#152&#128&#239&#184&#143   He’s up to date on vaccines, has had recent bloodwork with excellent results, and recently had corrective entropion surgery. He is ready to hit the trail running!. He’s proven to be trustworthy in the house, prefers freedom over a kennel, and has met children (including on Halloween!), which he handled beautifully. &#226&#156&#168   Currently fostered in Rapid City, South Dakota, Muppet is ready to bring companionship, motivation, and joy to every mile you share together.
