Shanei nei is a 1 year and 3 month old Miniature Shar Pei that I adopted in Carson City. I am looking for a caring and patient new owner for her because of ongoing costs after losing my job.Shanei nei is:• Great with everyone, including kids with special needs• Active, energetic, and loves to run• Good with large dogs and friendly with small dogs• Responsive to firm voice commands• Mostly house trained but has occasional accidents when scared or sick• Diagnosed with cherry eyes (both eyes) and a sensitive stomachShe is a "big dog in a small dog body" who loves sleeping on top of you on the couch and enjoys rough play. While she doesn't know tricks, she dances and jumps when she's happy! She may bark at strangers initially, but she isn't aggressive—she just needs a little time and patience to get comfortable.

Nugget is on the small side but muscular weighing in at 30 pounds.Our pets are "New Home Ready", meaning adopted animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated including rabies and have a microchip. These services are all included in our adoption fee.NFASI is open Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm and hold adoption events periodically around the Pahrump area. Please call to confirm the pet you are interested in is still available (775) 537-8674 and onsite (or we can make arrangements for their Foster Parent to bring them in).Foster homes & volunteers are always needed please contact us regarding how you can foster or volunteer for our organization.

Meet Molly (you may remember her as “Rita”) – a gorgeous black Shar-Pei with a heart full of love and just enough wrinkles to prove she’s wise beyond her years. Through some very sad circumstances, Molly has found her way back to Pei People, this time with her brother, Baron, by her side. We promised her that this next chapter will be the one where she finally finds her forever. Molly is a sweet, slightly timid girl who tends to favor women at first—but don’t worry, gentlemen, she just needs a little extra time to warm up. She was deeply attached to her previous mom and is already showing brave progress in bonding with her foster mom. With patience, kindness, and a few snacks, she’ll be your loyal shadow in no time. Like many Shar-Pei, Molly has a few skin issues, but this girl takes it all in stride. She hops right into the shower for her medicated baths like a pro, happily soaking up the extra scratching and lathering—it’s basically spa day in her eyes! Molly may be petite in confidence right now, but her love is enormous. With a gentle hand and a big heart, she’ll reward her forever family with loyalty, snuggles, and a daily dose of Shar-Pei charm.March 7, 2026, 1:57 pm
