Chilli is a 3 year old neutered Shar Pei mix. He is a inside/outside dog via doggy door. He may mark if he smells other animals. He can be fearful of new people and seems to prefer older kids. He can be dominant with other dogs but can co exist with submissive ones. When inside he likes to hand out on the couch. He likes car rides and playing in the water. Chilli is good with cats and livestock.

Meet Mila AKA Dolce!  She has just joined PeiPeople in Las Vegas.  Stay tuned as we learn more about this little sweetheart!  What do we know so far? She LOVES to be scratched, enjoys walks, and people.  We do know she doesn't like her feet touched and going to the vet, but hey - who can blame her!  She is estimated to be 9 years young, but we will have our vets check her out to see how accurate this is.  At first appearances she seems to be strong and in good health.  If you are looking for a velcro dog, Mila AKA Dolce is your gal! February 10, 2026, 8:36 am

Meet Karlsson 💛🖤 Karlsson is a 4-month-old mixed breed puppy with an absolutely irresistible face and an even sweeter personality. We know his mama is a Shar-Pei mix and possibly Mastiff, but the rest of his breed mix is a mystery but what we do know is that he’s going to be a big, handsome boy! At just 4 months old, Karlsson is already close to 30 pounds. Karlsson gets along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and even cats. He’s a gentle, playful puppy who enjoys romping around with dog friends just as much as he loves curling up for snuggles and nap time. Sadly, Karlsson didn’t have the best start in life. When he came to us, he wasn’t being fed properly and was living in unclean conditions, which caused some hair loss on his face. The good news? After just three weeks on a healthy diet, his coat is already growing back beautifully and looking shiny and healthy. Because Karlsson is expected to be a large dog, he will need a home with a yard, no apartments, please. He would also love a home with another dog friend to play with, as he truly thrives with that companionship. If you’re interested in adopting Karlsson, please fill out an application on our website. She is an 8-month-old Shar-Pei and Basset Hound mix with a sweet and gentle personality. She does well with children and is friendly with other dogs. We are not sure how she does with cats. She is house trained when kept on a proper routine and is still learning leash manners, so she will benefit from continued leash training and consistency. She has a medium energy level and enjoys spending time with her people. We are looking for a loving, stable home where she will be treated as part of the family. A home that can continue her training, provide regular care, and offer patience as she grows would be ideal.

These services are all included in our adoption fee.NFASI is open Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm and hold adoption events periodically around the Pahrump area. Please call to confirm the pet you are interested in is still available (775) 537-8674 and onsite (or we can make arrangements for their Foster Parent to bring them in).Foster homes & volunteers are always needed please contact us regarding how you can foster or volunteer for our organization.
