Meet Lucy: part Lab, part Poodle, part Golden Retriever, part Shar Pei, part Pointer... and somehow also part capybara? (I mean, just look at her!) At around 3 years old, Lucy is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece with a scruffy little face, a perfectly round body, an oversized snoot, and the kind of quirky charm that makes everyone who meets her smile. She's become a favorite among our staff and volunteers, and currently serves as the Animal Care Manager's office dog because she's just that easy to love. Lucy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but underneath that bashful exterior is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and submissive girl who simply wants to be close to her people. She's a professional snuggler, an expert nap enthusiast, and the ideal companion for someone looking for a low-key best friend. While she enjoys short walks and occasional playful bursts, Lucy's true passion is lounging. She especially enjoys dipping her toes in the water or relaxing in a kiddie pool, though she'd much rather soak than swim. Lucy is wonderfully housebroken, has excellent house manners, and is happiest when she can hang out nearby while you work, watch TV, or simply exist together. She can be a little clingy in the sweetest way possible, but she's also content spending some time on her own. Lucy can be selective about other dogs and may prefer soaking up all the love as the only pet in her forever home. Because she's sensitive and appreciates a calm environment, she'd likely do best in a home with older children or teens. If you've been searching for a quirky-looking couch companion with a heart of gold, a big nose made for boops, and a PhD in relaxation, Lucy might just be your perfect match.

Bandita has the face of a larger dog, but look again-- she's actually a pint-sized gal of just under 40lbs! This sweetheart is a unique and special pup looking for a family to call her own. While Bandita came to us from a difficult background, she is as trusting and affectionate as they come. She has great manners and is very eager to please, and is already housebroken. Due to her gentle nature and sweet personality, Bandita would likely be do well in a family with school-aged kids, but really any family size or structure will be just peachy with her as long as she gets loved on! Although she is still young, Bandita is an easygoing gal who enjoys taking time for the little things-- sniffing around the yard, having some treats, and most of all, snuggling with her human friends. Bandita is generally nervous with other dogs, and might prefer to be the only dog in the home; however, she does not mind sharing space with other dogs who are calm and leave her to do her own thing, it would be have to be a special connection for her to share her home. Sweet Enzo is a Boxer mix that is approx. 3 years old. He is currently in a foster home and this is what his foster mom has to say about him... Enzo is the greatest little guy you'll ever meet!! If you are looking for a constant companion, he's your guy. He will follow you everywhere you go and stay next to you for hours. He will be your furry little shadow 🐾 because he loves nothing more than being with his people. He knows basic commands and loves to “go to work” and will stay in my office all day with me without complaint. He's low energy with occasional zoomies and loves to spin! Especially when you come back home, even if it's just to the mailbox! 📬 His favorite things (besides his people) are Nylabones and squeaky stuffies. He rarely tears them up; he just likes to squeak them. He seems to like doing it most during zoom calls. 😂 Enzo is special needs, which simply means he’s waiting for a very special family. He is blind in one eye and does have seizures, but they are not frequent enough to require daily medication at this time.
