So you know about my "kissable" mug, right?? Shar peis have the big "fluffy" cheeks and soft sweet nose, not to mention the eyes that stare into your SOUL!! Yes, that is ME!!! Meet Leonidas!  What this handsome boy lacks in height he makes up for in personality. Leonidas is a sweet little guy, he's the most loveable bulldog mix. He came to us as a stray in mid August, but he has been friendly and loving from the start. He has the biggest personality, he loves to run around and play the day away. If he were a person, he would be an athlete for sure. Energetics aside, he is a total ham! Mr. Leo is one of the biggest lovers on the planet, he loves nothing more than getting good scratches all around his cheeks and under his chin. Belly rubs are his favorite past-time, and he would make a killer movie-night partner. Leo has gone through lots of training here with us too, he knows the 'sit' command like the back of his paw, and will also walk well on a leash for a confident handler. Unfortunately, on 08/30/2021, Leo was diagnosed with heartworms.This poor guy went through almost a year of treatments, but we are happy to announce that he is now heartworm negative and ready to find his forever home! Leonidas is also required to be the only other animal in the home since he does not get along with other animals, however he loves children! Leo is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. Meet November!  Miss November is ready to find her forever home. Novie is a beautiful boxer and mountain cur mix, with an estimated birthday of 12/01/2020. November came to us as a scared and skinny stray who just wanted some love, and she blossomed in our care. She has come up to a healthier weight, and is showing us what a social butterfly she can be! Novie has become a big lovebug, she is all happy smiles and butt wiggles, and has never met someone she didn't love. She does very well with other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. Meet Mushi! Hey everybody, my name is Mushi! I'm so excited to meet you! Well, I'm excited to meet everybody. I'm an American Bulldog mix, and I was born right about 03/01/2022. My friends here at the shelter like to call me all kinds of goofy nicknames, like Mushy, Mushster, Mushmallow, and Mushiboy. I don't mind any of them, because that means I'm getting attention! Attention is one of my favorite things, after all. I do have lots of favorite things, though. Treats are my favorite, people are my favorite, toys are my favorite, running is my favorite, playing is my favorite... I could go on and on! I'm told my squishy cheeks and happy smile are irresistable, so only come meet me if you're prepared to fall in love! I really like other dogs, too, but I definitely have fun being the dog in charge.
