Story
Porter is a 4 year old French Bulldog/English Bulldog mix that weighs about 38lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention.
THE BIGGEST OAF YOU'LL EVER LOVE
He is a BIG. OLE. OAF. And we absolutely adore him.
This boy is basically a lovable wrecking ball. He runs into walls and sometimes your leg. Occasionally launches himself into your lap when you least expect it, and has absolutely no concept that he is, in fact, 38 pounds. (We say thats the English Bulldog in him)
He has also perfected the art of throwing his weight around to get what he wants. And what does he want?
YOU.
He wants to be wherever his people are. He loves to cuddle, loves being at your feet, and would happily spend his day glued to his favorite person.
Because of his enthusiasm and sheer size, he would not be the best fit for elderly people or a home with toddlers who are still learning to walk. He's just so excited to love everyone that sometimes his body forgets to wait for permission.
Dogs? YES!He is not aggressive with his foster brother or sister and wants to play with EVERY dog he meets.
Cats?His foster home doesn't have cats, so we can't say for sure. He does seem completely unbothered by the neighbor's cat when it strolls by.
Squirrels? ABSOLUTELY NOT.Apparently, squirrels have personally offended him.
Food?He's not food aggressive at all, but if you drop something, congratulations. You have just donated it to him.
Crate trained?Yep! He sleeps peacefully in his crate at night with no problems.
The bottom line:This boy is just a goofy, loving, big ole OAF who wants a family to love, cuddle, play with and follow around. Oh.... and he Loves to give everyone hugs!
He isn't perfect. He's not graceful. He doesn't know his own size. And he will probably scare you at least once by suddenly launching his entire body into your lap for kisses.
But he is sweet, affectionate, playful and full of personality, and we think someone out there is going to absolutely fall in love with this big goofy guy. (We think thats the French Bulldog part)
He's officially ready to find his forever home!
