Animal Rescue of Crosby County REQUIRES secure and safe fenced yards or fenced areas (apartments) for all ADOPTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Jackson is a Shar Pei/Lab mix. He is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs 60lbs. Jackson is a great dog but needs an experienced owner. He has lots of energy and can be mouthy. He can be corrected and wants to learn. Some obedience training would be a great benefit for him. He came into our rescue with another female dog but we believe he should be an only dog. He has not been tested with cats. Due to his excitable energy level, we do not recommend a home with small children.  ##1122493##

Story
Teddy is around 7 months old, he’s a sweet boy who needs his puppy exercise, but we’re out of the house too much to provide that for him. He’s very cuddly and playful, he’s gentle with our older dogs and cats that roam the house. He’s knows sit, down, stay/wait, okay, come, place, outside, “mine” when asking for a toy after tugging, and “eat”. We met him when I was at work picking up grounds, he followed me and was so sweet and cuddly. Once we nursed him back to health his energy came back, and he’s been playful and loving. Recently he’s not been eating his food, and we think it’s because we are away too much and he’s getting anxious. We’re looking to rehome him because we can’t provide him the time and energy he needs for his current stage of development.

Gypsy’s Story ❤️ Gypsy is a six-year-old Boxer, born on April 30. I got her here in Texas, and she has been by my side ever since. Gypsy is an incredibly sweet, loyal, and obedient girl. She knows how to sit, lay down, and shake, and she loves being around her person. She has spent almost every minute of every day with me. She even went to work with me, rode in the car with me, and has taken road trips all the way from Texas to Illinois. She is truly a companion dog and has been a huge part of my everyday life. She loves being with her person and is happiest when she can be right by your side. I’m looking for a loving, stable home where Gypsy will be treated as part of the family and given the time, attention, and affection she deserves. She is a very special girl, and finding her the right home is extremely important to me. Words I would use to describe Gypsy: ❤️ Sweet ❤️ Loyal ❤️ Loving ❤️ Obedient ❤️ Affectionate ❤️ Faithful ❤️ Well-trained ❤️ A wonderful companion
