Turbo (A134921) is a 4-year-old Airedale Terrier x Poodle mix who weighed 49.1 pounds on intake! Update from his prior family: Turbo was stated to be a very friendly boy who loves everyone! He has historically done great with everyone he has met, including children! However, as observed at the shelter, he gets very excited to say hi and may jump up to greet you. Turbo was also said to do great with other dogs, but has no experience with cats. However, they felt he would do well with smaller critters too. Again, appropriate introductions are important! They also felt he would really like a fenced-in yard to play in and enjoys his chew toys! Turbo is not fully housebroken, but will try to alert his owner by going to the door when he needs to potty. He was said to ride well in a car! If you are interested in meeting Turbo, please let us know! 06/09/26 This handsome boy is Turbo! Turbo arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home. Turbo has a history of being a bit of an adventurer, so he is looking for an owner who will join him on his quests. Turbo should always be on a leash, secure tie-out, or supervised when in a fenced-in yard. We do not know if Turbo is housebroken. While at the shelter, he has had frequent accidents in his kennel, so he may need some reminders in his next home. We also encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners and learn a trick or two. Turbo does like to jump up, so this is something to keep in mind if you have small kiddos in the home. We do not know his experience level with children or other animals.
