Story
If you've been dreaming of a big, fluffy livestock guardian dog, your flock has arrived! Lambchop, Suffolk, Merino, and Dorset are four beautiful sisters, approximately 3 months old and already around 20+ pounds. These girls came from a farm in Lancaster, where an accidental breeding resulted in puppies being kept in poor conditions. When we learned about their situation, we didn't hesitate to bring them into rescue and give them the fresh start they deserved. Their parents are a Maremma Sheepdog and a Great Pyrenees, two breeds known for producing intelligent, loyal, and devoted companions with a strong sense of purpose. These puppies are expected to grow into large dogs and will thrive with adopters who understand and appreciate livestock guardian breeds. While they're still playful puppies, their heritage shines through. Guardian breeds are known for their independent spirit, strong protective instincts, and deep loyalty to their families. They are incredibly smart dogs who often like to think for themselves, making them wonderful companions for the right homes. They tend to form close bonds with their people while remaining watchful, confident, and naturally protective. Like all puppies, they will need continued socialization, training, patience, and guidance as they grow into well-rounded adults. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion who will stand by your side for years to come. And one final note: please don't judge these girls by their muddy photos! With the recent rain and muddy playyards, keeping four fluffy white puppies clean is nearly impossible. They receive regular baths and grooming to keep them looking their best, but it seems they've decided mud baths are much more fun. We gave up trying to win that battle! They will come spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped. Apply for adoption at www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Adoption fee: $525 Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, Pa Kennel License #5152

Story
Incoming!! 2 young teenage Great Pyrenees pups are coming to us from a partner rescue. We already took both of these litters and both Moms on 7/5, but a local family in VA was supposed to adopt these 2. Now they are coming to us at 5-6 months old. Tilley, the crazy shaggy/fluffy girl, could be part Poodle and Sheepdog based off her Mom. She LOVES chickens, but with a coat like hers and the amount of grooming needed, she needs to live inside after saying hi to her livestock friends. Arlo, the super white pup, has a Momma that looked Australian Shepherd or Border Collie. He is extremely fluffy and soft. Both pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. They will have our reduced fee for older pups to help them get adopted. Our GP pups needed a decent sized, fenced in yard. No townhouses, condos, or apartments. We will have better pics once they arrive on 9/11, and they will be available for adoption that weekend. You can submit an application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com. All adults must be present to adopt and children are encouraged to attend. Harford County, MD *No, they're not posted on the website yet. Go ahead and apply and we will email you.
