Story
Lego is an 9-year-old dog with a calm, thoughtful personality who enjoys the simple things in life. He’s happiest relaxing beside his person, going for leisurely walks, or soaking up a sunny spot by the window. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal and forms deep bonds with his family. This has been one of the most difficult decisions our family has ever had to make. After eight wonderful years with Lego, we’re seeking a new home because he recently nipped our 13-month-old son. While the bite did not break the skin, it made us realize that we can no longer safely manage the risks that come with having a young toddler in the home. We do not believe Lego is a bad dog. We believe he would be much happier and more successful in a calm, adult-oriented home where he isn’t faced with the unpredictability and stress that young children can bring. Our goal is not simply to rehome him, but to find the environment where he can live safely and comfortably for the rest of his life.
