Story
Unfortunately our lives have significantly changed since we adopted Eliza in 2022. We've had to make the hard decision to rehome her. Eliza is smart, can be very affectionate and has a good demeanor. She's also a very anxious pup who's always on alert and can be a barker.She's about 24" tall at the shoulders, weighs 50lbs, runs like a deer and retains some of her herding instincts. She's housebroken, understands basic commands and does well on walks. She's initially nervous around other dogs but does acclimate well. She's also good with our elderly cat (though she want's to play too much for him).Eliza does fine at residential dog sitters (i.e. Rover) but does not like being at a boarder. She rides in the car fine. Eliza's on anti-anxiety meds that do take the edge off her nervous energy but she may benefit from more in depth behavioral interventions like a trainer.We know she'll make a great pet for the right family and will miss her dearly. Adoption fee to be donated.
