Story
Austin is at Project POOCH. To learn more and to apply, go here - pooch.org/austin I’m still figuring out how to be my sweet social self with new people, so please be patient with me! My human friends say that I am so cute and sweet. My dog friends say “woof-woof, bark” which ruffly translates to: “He’s a blast!” Austin is a sweet young man who is learning as much as he can about the world. He can be sensitive about new situations but is realizing that he doesn’t have to be scared of novel experiences. Since coming to POOCH he has discovered that other dogs aren’t scary, they’re actually a LOT of fun! He is enjoying playgroups with POOCH and daycare dogs, and is getting a lot of social learning from them, like how to play in the pool. He would probably enjoy having a dog friend to live with, maybe they can even help boost his confidence. The youth are doing a good job working on his basic cues, like sit and down, and his life skills, like crate training and handling for the vet and grooming. He can be slower to pick things up compared to others in his cohort, so would benefit from some patience in a handler. If you’re looking for a dog who makes you feel chosen when he loves up on you, Austin might be that special one. Bonus, he can be ultra goofy!

Story
Baz is a loving rescue Standard poodle X who was adopted by us after he was surrendered by his previous owners following a car accident. He had surgery followed by physiotherapy to get him back in shape and he’s now a very active dog. He’s great with kids, cats and other dogs. Although he loves a zoomy, he equally enjoys being able to laze around with his family. Unfortunately we’re relocating and need to find a forever home for him.
