Austin is at Project POOCH. To learn more and to apply, go here - pooch.org/austin I’m still figuring out how to be my sweet social self with new people, so please be patient with me! My human friends say that I am so cute and sweet. My dog friends say “woof-woof, bark” which ruffly translates to: “He’s a blast!” Austin is a sweet young man who is learning as much as he can about the world. He can be sensitive about new situations but is realizing that he doesn’t have to be scared of novel experiences. Since coming to POOCH he has discovered that other dogs aren’t scary, they’re actually a LOT of fun! He is enjoying playgroups with POOCH and daycare dogs, and is getting a lot of social learning from them, like how to play in the pool. He would probably enjoy having a dog friend to live with, maybe they can even help boost his confidence. The youth are doing a good job working on his basic cues, like sit and down, and his life skills, like crate training and handling for the vet and grooming. He can be slower to pick things up compared to others in his cohort, so would benefit from some patience in a handler. If you’re looking for a dog who makes you feel chosen when he loves up on you, Austin might be that special one. Bonus, he can be ultra goofy!

Meet Lily! This sweet girl was found as a stray out in eastern Washington and after a much needed groom and vet care, she was transferred to us! She loves everyone and wants to get all the attention from everyone. She has not been tested with cats yet, but that can be arranged. We are estimating her around 3 years old and has moderate energy levels, so adopters should be prepared for that! ##2846901##

Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet boy Murphy. He’s a Sheepadoodle. We've been able to take care of him very well up until now but with our busy work schedules and growing family we are no longer able to provide the care and love he deserves. He's very well trained, an indoor dog, potty trained, has no serious health concerns, is great around kids but can be a little skittish around new people so needs a patient kind home and hopefully a home that will help to keep him active. He loves fetch and walks. He's 6 years old and we picked him up from wonderful breeders in Indiana. He's mostly an Old English Sheepdog but also a poodle mix so he does not shed. He's also used to getting regular grooms and does amazing at the groomers.
