Meet Winston! 🐾💙 Winston is a handsome 1.6-year-old, large male Goldendoodle with the sweetest personality. He loves everyone he meets and is looking for a forever family to call his own. He's a loyal, affectionate companion who may be a big boy, but he truly believes he's a lap dog! Winston is house-trained, crate-trained, and neutered. He has had no accidents in his foster home and settles down nicely once he's inside. While he has plenty of energy for playtime, he also enjoys relaxing with his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play. Winston is also great with people of all ages. Because he's still a young, enthusiastic dog who likes to jump up when he's excited, he may accidentally scare very young children. For that reason, he'd do best with older kids and an active family with a fenced yard where he can run and play. Winston is working on his leash manners. He walks well overall but can pull at times, so he'll need someone willing to continue his training. He's a smart boy who already knows how to sit and shake and learns new things quickly. He enjoys car rides and happily watches the world go by through the windows. He's not much of a barker, loves his toys, and is very patient during grooming. Even when his beard became matted, he calmly sat while it was shaved and trimmed around his eyes. Winston is being fostered in Millston, Wisconsin. His foster family adores him, but with two resident dogs, a rabbit, and a small home, they know he'll thrive in a home with more space and an active family to love.
